Magic deer

Down at the shoot this morning where we were extremely lucky. Rained all the way there - dry whilst shooting - and then rained all the way home! A good day and I was highest score of the three of us. This deer is a new addition to the farm and is lovely. The man who makes them is on site and he also does a lovely hare but he didn’t have one in his workshop which we popped into for a quick browse.
Back home and then off to see a potential new car for J as she’s thinking of changing to a smaller more economical one. An interesting chap we met who was also a shoooter and we had one or two other things in common including the watches we both wear! Very sad to see however that he has an old 300tdi discovery which is in poor condition needing renovation but he hasn’t the time to do it but he said he’d never sell it.
