... Colour in the City

Seeing it was such a beautiful day and also being a holiday I took a walk around the city. There were so many people about and it was hard to get a park. I haven't been for a walk around the city for a while so it was good to catch up with the earthquake rebuild.

I thought these murals made a wonderful splash of colour..

When I was driving into the city I could see some snow on the Port Hills, so the Akaora hills would have snow too. On the way home I could see the Southern Alps had lots of fresh snow on them as well. The Skiers will be happy!


Tomorrow we are expecting more rain and much colder temperatures, plus more snow on the mountains.
