Great Uncle John Pattison

Before heading home I went to Arras to find my great uncle. He was killed in WW1 but his body was never found.
He is immortalised on the memorial wall and details recorded in the book, of which there are 8. He is the one in the East Yorkshire Regiment, from South Shields. I think it was over 85,000 commemorated on the Arras memorial.
Under the English Channel as I type, heading home.
