It feels like April showers in June!  Some sunshine, but also some very heavy showers today.

Had a visit from a friend this morning and had a good chat over coffee.

We have a shoe store which we bought in Ikea many years ago, and last year two of the plastic brackets broke.  They are the only weak link in the whole thing.  We went back to Ikea thinking we would have to buy a whole new item, but they gave us replacement brackets for free.  Yesterday, two of the others broke, so back we went to Ikea today and this time we asked for four replacement brackets, as presumably the last two will eventually break too.  Great service from Ikea, although it is a pity that the brackets are not made of metal 

The mecanopsis is in flower and even though it is raining, I have blipped it.
