but looking none the worse for wear

actually - it was hidden under - some other leaves which - helped protect it from pelting hail - those leaves are now gone - and we are just getting - another round of hail - as i type this - i wasn’t quick enough - to grab the heavy planters - and drag them into my house - it would’ve made a mess
anyway

so we’ll have to - wait and see what the resulting damage - ends up being - but flowers are resilient, right? - when i checked this morning - there were lots of buds - so i can only hope - they’ll survive to bloom - and it will end up being...
