Painterly poppies

As you may have guessed this hurriedly taken photo didn't come out quite as intended.  However, I decided I quite liked it in a negative spaces sort of way.

Sam had his first exam today and thought it went OK.  He has his second (and last) exam tomorrow.  He's been surprisingly studious.
