Without light this pine tree does not portray the joy of the Christmas season but represent instead the pain that many suffer at this time of year. There are far to many that are hurting, cold and hungry without hope. I have been poor, I have been cold and I have been hungry but have felt good because of the light and warmth of love. It is far worst to be warm and fed but not to feel the warm light of love. May the light of the Christ child warm your being.
