Look into my eyes

A cooler day today and I noticed this cinnabar moth on the lawn.  It was alive but too cold to fly away so I took the opportunity to go in really close.  It was as if an alien being was looking at me through the camera. I had taken a focus stacking set of 15 images before the warmth of the lighting brought the moth back to life and it flew away.  In the camera the images looked dreadful as the depth of field was incredibly small but when combined in photoshop the alien reappeared.
