Went to the TechNet gathering at the ECA to visit the various workshops of the art college. It was really cool to see what the students get to work with. In contrast to our workshops where we build stuff for researchers the students get instructed to do whatever they want to do for the work. I was particularly impressed by the hot glass workshop. The ECA annual degree show is on at the moment and I am really looking forward to checking out what the students have been up to.
