Where Have All The Nightshades Gone?

Silverleaf Nightshade used to be abundant in the field across from my house.  This year, this is only the second plant I've seen and I haven't seen any in the aforementioned field.  I wonder if we have had too much rain or if they got mowed before they had a chance to go to seed.  Anyway, I was so excited to see it on my walk this morning, that I decided right away that it would be my blip and cover photo-----and I rarely do that!
