Our Boxing Day Walk

... took us across Stainborough Castle Gardens parkland. We'd intended to meet the car driving half of our party in the cafe but we ran into Merv on the way there who let us know that the cafe/ gardens were closed so a quick phone call home to say we'd meet at the Strafford Arms instead. We were an age getting served even though the pub itself wasn't too full when we arrived. I drove Mum home while the others walked back.
