Rock doves

Chewing the cud oblivious to the weather.  See extra.

The Rock doves commute between the cliffs of Treshnish Head and the bird feeders of Treshnish farmhouse, pausing in the drizzle in the sycamore trees, to rest up before the next assault on the bird feeders.

The Cow parsley on the wilder margins of our 'garden' seems to have sprung up overnight, flowering prettily and wallowing in the breeze.

Guests have possibly spotted a Cetti's Warbler... we hold our breath waiting to hear if it is actually what they think it is.  They are usually seen in Norfolk.
