Very hot again today, and I took Djeili for a swim in the lake for lunch. We shifted the evening walk to quite late, it was cooler then, but she still jumped into every little stream she could find. We saw a deer on one of the meadows close by the forest - I saw Djeili making calculations on the effort it would take to make a fuss, whine, and pull on the lead. Apparently too much, she nearly didn't bother!
