Contrasts

Busy morning and then the office BBQ lunch*.....unfortunately the skies were still rather grey and we needed coats to sit outside but it was a nice chance to chat to all the various teams.
More meetings in the afternoon as the skies cleared and it was lovely by the time I headed over to the Book Festival launch*. Still find it odd to see people playing cricket on the Meadows...somehow it's just too English to expect up here.
Lovely G&Ts, chat with lots of people and what sounds like a great programme at the launch. Didn't stay too long to mingle (probably should have done) but I wanted to get home and prepare for the weekend away..
