Into the unknown!

Today I made my first foray into The Washington DC metro system. I enjoyed a tour of the monuments on an electric cart. The welcome breeze from the open sided vehicles was a welcome respite from the heat off the streets. The White House was a bit too distant for me and in from were vociferous crowds (the Abortion issue), various religious groups and milling groups of sightseers.
