Towering Cumulus

After two weeks of mostly overcast skies, it was nice to have sunshine and blue skies for this morning's paddle around the bay. In studying for my upcoming FAA Part 107 Test (to become a certified drone pilot in the United States), I have developed a new appreciation for weather. I now know that these are towering cumulus clouds and can even calculate the expected base height based on current temperature and dew point - which I can also read from a pilot's coded weather report. At least I know all these things without any pressure, in a couple of weeks we will see if I am able to do the same at the testing center.
