Road Closed

Anyone who know's the bridge on north Bristol's Gipsy Patch Lane will no doubt acknowledge the disruption to traffic in the area while it's closed for a month while preparatory work is underway for a subsequent 12-month closure. 

The plan is to completely replace the bridge, which carries the recently electrified main railway line, making a 4 lane carriageway plus pedestrian and cycle access, which is difficult to imagine right now. They'll also be lowering the road to accommodate high vehicles including the new metro buses.

I shall watch with interest and no doubt capture a few blips along the way :-)
