I'm Blue Do Be Do

We last did this walk a little over three years ago on my 40th birthday, and I was happy to see it's as untrodden now as it was then. The sun came out for our last day, and we saw one other person the whole time - that's pretty much perfect. Well almost, still no otters on the Isles (just the one on the mainland) and no eagles today. Ah well, can't have everything.

But just look at the blue of that water... We've stopped at this little beach every time we've done the walk (this is the third time), and today we stopped by twice. On the way back our footprints were still the only ones there. Time and space for a paddle....

The weather is still holding to sit and eat and drink out on the deck where we're staying, watching the water for movement, eating scallops from the Scallop Shack across the loch at Miavaig.

Definitely more ups than downs on the trip in the end, which is always the way it should be.

Three extras worth checking out for the turquoise perfection (though one has a little gruesome addition).
