Exploring

Spotted two young girls exploring the hull of the boat that was beached and then destroyed by fire awhile back. I'm not sure how safe it is for them to be on it but I think there was an adult with them, sitting on the beach reading.
Friday morning at Barb's? No - Friday morning at Jeremy's! Our favourite server from Barb's  and his wife Liz invited us to their home for breakfast, delicious! They used to own a pizza place in Calgary. They could open a breakfast place here! Eggs benny with roasted tomatoes, potatoes and fruit salad (plus orange slices for G, an inside joke), and extra hollandaise for me. Great coffee too. Best of all, we had time with baby Olivia, almost 4 months old. One of the most beautiful babies I've ever seen (except for our granddaughters, of course!), and she seems very advanced for her age. What a delight to hold a baby! G was down on the floor with her just before we left, and as he picked her up, he said, "Come to Gramps!" Just slipped out and he quickly changed it to Uncle.  But they did say we could be surrogate grandparents. Who could refuse? Zak, a friend of theirs from Calgary, was visiting, and it was really nice to meet him. Such lovely young people.
