Isabella's Birthday.

Isabella was four today, she was so excited.  In fact she's been excited for a week or more.

There were presents from her Mum and Dad this morning and then presents from us this afternoon.  There will be more presents on Sunday from her other grandparents.

As she had a birthday tea last weekend with other relatives last weekend, and there will be more cake on Sunday I decided not to make a big cake today.  In fact I was a bit lazy and bought a box of Mr Kipling's French Fancies.  We put some candles in them and sang 'Happy Birthday'.  She was happy.

Two lovely moments : 1.  When she was opening her presents she handed a little one to Mia and said, ' Here you are, you can have this one Mia.'  I thought that was so nice, giving her sister one of her unopened presents.

2.  After blowing her candles out,  Alexandra said to her, 'Choose which cake you'd like.'  Isabella took the plate and said, ' No, Mia can have first choice.'

Children constantly surprise you.

Hopefully the photos I take on Sunday will be better.  Today's, have been a bit rubbish!
