a cold day waiting for the storm

Today was boxing day here in Canada a day off for most a time for many to go running off to the stores and buy what they did not get for Christmas. I decided to skip it and sleep in. I did take a walk down to the lake today to get a few shots, it was a cold day -5C with a windchill of -13C I was taking pictures with gloves on. The lake was freezing over and the gull where not flying. Tonight there is snow, it will be fun to get up and see how much we end up with.
