Powell's Books, West Burnside Street.

We spent the rainy afternoon at Powell's. We have a system where begin at Powell's Technical Books then cross the street and go to the main building of Powell's. On the top floor of the main building they had a small showing of Vivian Maier's photography, along with the new book (Out of the Shadows) of her photographs which I bought. Also bought a lovely book of Maynard L. Parker's photographs (Modern Photography and the American Dream), beautiful mid-century interiors. I am looking forward to spending time with these books this evening!
