Confused? I am!

What with having friends over for Christmas Day and then going out with the whole group for lunch on Boxing Day, last night was the first real chance I'd had to investigate my new laptop.

There's an awful lot I don't understand at the moment, what with going from XP to Win8 and from three years of Firefox back to IE, and then there's that Start screen... very pretty but I don't really know how to make it work for me at the moment.

So begins the process of making it my own, and so far this morning I've found out how to export my Firefox bookmarks ready for importing into IE... Well it's a start!
