Chimney Pigeon

Recovering from norovirus, I felt too weak and wobbly to wield the camera properly and in fact couldn't muster the enthusiasm to take pics. I only took a handful. This wood pigeon launched itself from the northerly disused boiler house chimney as I was taking Ollie for an evening walk.

I was disappointed that I wasn't well enough to go to Stapleford to see the Queen's Birthday Flypast. As it happens many of the vintage planes were pulled owing to the high winds.

I'll get back into blip properly shortly I hope.
