Isabella's Birthday Party.

Got up early to make the filling for the cake.  Then the icing.  I put a bit too much red in it, so instead of pale pink, it was a bit darker than I planned.  

I also, put the flower decorations on too soon, so they started sliding down the cake!!  Eventually, they settled, and they didn't look too bad at all.

The other decorations I had to put on when I got there, otherwise the cake wouldn't have fitted into the box.

It tasted alright, and there was enough for everyone, without having mountains of cake left over.

When we left they were all off to a cousin's b-b-q for their little girl who was turning 5.  So, no doubt more cake!!
