The Hill

This was taking from the transition area, where we were checking out bikes all day from the triathalon. The couple on the bench had sat there for a couple of hours, watching the spectacle. I'm guessing they must have had binoculars. It was exhausting, but good fun. We had one annoyed customer who said she wouldn't do it again because the traffic road closures were awful, but most people were very happy and upbeat.

I'm really glad I volunteered again. The crew were great, and the vast majority of athletes and amateurs were hugely grateful for our time. It is so important to be able to bring such a prestigious sporting event to the city.
