German but with an Israeli sense on humour Eran has been weathering the storm with us this week in Berlin.

It's only been three years since I was there last, but in that time the two sides have totally integrated.

Not only that, the edgy subculture of divide has become more homogenised and therefore clean, tidy and uniform.

In a way it's sad. Less challenging. More global. More uniform.

In a positive sense I found Berliners generally much kinder. This can't be a bad thing.
