Lots of extras today, as not only do I like the scenery in this quiet stretch of the Nantes to Brest canal, but there is a beautiful chapel, Our Lady of Compassion. There is a pietà statue that is carried in the annual ceremony and procession (called a "Pardon") that I just loved and couldn't stop photographing. I have a thing with pietàs, as there is a scene in the short film I've been meaning to shoot for the last fifteen years where I want that sort of feeling.

Oh, and llamas! :-D Not in the chapel, obviously, but in the meadow directly behind it.
