Dragon boat races

Been a lovely, hot day. And it was also dragon boat race day here in DB.

After a lovely church service, a few of us headed to the Plaza for lunch and to check out some of the races. Our church team was racing too.

It was super hot and we had to nip in and out of air-conditioning to stay cool.

Had a stroll through the markets as well and felt quite sorry for the vendors who had been standing in the heat all day.

Martin has arrived home safely and has had a refreshing time away. Thrilled to have him back ‘home’...

P.S. There were a lot of protestors today in Hong Kong standing up against the new extradition law that is going to be passed. Peaceful at first, and then turned quite violent, which is so unlike Hong Kong people, but this is a very serious issue and people want their voice to be heard.
