stange day. I planned a day doing my own thing. then I got a call saying 'help, my oven has stopped working!!' on christmas day!! yikes, bring the pie here to cook i say.
no, its ok, oven has revived itself...
wait, its stopped again... i'll rush up with the pie.
and would you like to come and eat with us?

so I did, it was a lovely meal. DD, DS and his japanese girlfriend, EH. nobody wanted to play any games though, that was a disappointment.

I think its time to try another recipe, this one has befallen too many disasters (forgotten ingredients, rats and now oven-off)
