Vaalserberg & three-country point...

Today our fourth day of our five days trip to the Dutch southern province Limburg. From our vacation-bungalow we made a walk of one hour to the top of the Vaalser-mountain (In the Netherlands we don’t have mountains, so to compensate all hills higher than 250mtr are named mountains). The Vaalser-mountain is the highest point in mainland Netherlands, 322,5mtr above sea level (since 2010 the Caribbean island Saba is official part of the Netherlands and now Mountain Scenery is the highest point of the Netherlands with 887mtr) . Near the highest point is the so called three-country point, where the borders of the Netherlands, Germany & Belgium come together. The three stones on the photo is the highest point in mainland Netherland; in the back of the photo you see the flags of the Netherlands, Germany & Belgium, that’s the place  the three borders come together... @ Vaals, the Netherlands
