To tie or not to tie

Not the most inspiring blip but it fits the Mono Monday challenge. It reminds me of a conversation I had in the shop last week. I was changing the mannequins in the window and wanted one of them to be a smart male. I had done his trousers and shirt and then asked  one of the young male volunteers to finish of with a tie ( more to give him something to do rather than me needing help). He replied that he didn't know how to do it. Out of curiosity I asked the other 2 men who were there if they were any good at tying ties. One said he always got his mum to do his and the other said he would give it a go but that he was rusty as he hadn't done it for years.
