Sadly Mindseye did not make it to Filey today due to the weather . . . which meant a coffee and cake morning . . . and a visit to Pickering Station. Here Q6 locomotive, featured last week on the TV Series . . . leaves pulling the 11AM train to Grosmont. This Class T2 0-8-0 locomotive, built in Darlington in 1918, was an unglamorous freight workhorse that plied the tracks of Teesside and Durham for 50 years.
