Freshly Caught & Grilled, Brighton

A beautifully sunny day today so decided to walk from our hotel to the marina further along the coast as I had never been to see it. To say it was a disappointment would be an understatement. It's poorly designed with not a jot of imagination used for either the housing or the commercial buildings. It's in a fantastic location but they've opted for a bog standard design for everything and virtually all the restaurants and bars are of the chain variety. The saving grace was the walk back along the vast stretch of pebble beach.
The first extra shot is a detail of this amazing sculpture garden surrounded by a rusting fence that sits right on the pebbles themselves. There was no indication of who built it or when and there was no access through the fence but it was astounding to look at. It's nearly ten feet tall in places and features arches, bridges and larger than life human figures.
The second extra is of some of the graffiti on hoardings that hide a huge brownfield site just behind the beach. I loved the staring eyes! I've titled the third shot "Andy For The Beach". The last extra is a shot of my brother and the clue to it's strangeness can be picked up from one of the extra shots I posted yesterday!
Today's main shot was taken at the hottest point of the day and I think they had both succumbed to the heat and fallen asleep.
