An invitation.....

.....to an Edwardian picnic lunch for a friend’s celebration meant finding things to wear which looked the part - a mixture of charity shop finds and altering existing items resulted in quite an acceptable look! A genuine Edwardian locket and cameo completed the outfit along with my old silver nurses buckle on a wide elastic belt ( the original petersham belt was suddenly about 3” too short!! )
Some artificial flowers, a plain straw boater and a glue gun worked wonders on the hat.
Mr E wore his father’s pocket watch to complete his very dapper costume!
