Sophie & Her Pet Nursery

Sophie chose a pet-themed comic as a treat on her way back from Toddler Group this morning and was keen to make the pet nursery for the plastic pet figures that came with it. This involved a lot of fiddly cutting out, folding and pasting which kept Grandma & Grandad entertained for a good hour on a wet play afternoon.

As you can see, Sophie was very pleased with the result ( which says more about her sweet nature than our construction skills!) and spent what was left of the afternoon playing pet nursery teacher and singing them nursery rhymes which they steadfastly refused to join in.

On this morning's golf round, all three of us perversely managed to post our best scores in weeks in probably the wettest and windiest conditions of the summer so far.
