Im., her parents, and I visited Port Lympne wild animal park: we had a very jolly (and v. sunny) day there a few years ago, and this was another very jolly (but v. wet) day. I'd not seen I's parents in far too long, so it was a nice way to reconnect with them.

Other highlights this time included seeing the three very little lion cubs, a peacock seeking MORE colours, the line-up of characterful howler monkeys, black rhinos blackening in the rain, a friendly bactrian camel, the extraordinarily acrobatic Javan gibbons, the seriously comical tapirs, and the unreasonably adorable red panda.
