Aonach Eagach

Not the famous Aonach Eagach, but another superbly perilous knife-edged ridge of the same name, leading up to the summit of Stob Gabhar (1090m). A fabulous walking day with sun and cloud, snatched out of back-to-back rainy days, so the scrambly route up was the most suitable option.


This is the penultimate peak in our assault on the Munro list. However, the weather looks to be too miserable to finish the last one off until our next visit up north ... but I would guess that is not going to be a long wait.
