Car slippers

Robin came home from förskola filthy and shattered.  He was playing outside when I arrived to collect him - round the back - we had to go hunting for him.  He fell asleep in the car on the way home.  It rained again during the night, but has been a gloriously sunny day.  Despite the heat, he insisted on putting his car slippers on after I removed his wet and dirty shoes and socks (plenty of puddles to play in).  It's just started raining again now. 

R was booked in for induction of labour today - asked to arrive at 1000, first they put her off till 1500, then till 1800.  They actually did nothing to start the process until this evening.  She and G spent much of the day in the local park near the hospital. 

Some friends are having Robin for the day tomorrow - they have children so he can play with them.  I'll be responsible for Alfie, so will get some exercise.  It's highly unlikely R & G will be home tomorrow, so I've the fun of another bath and bed time.
