Messing About By The River

Dolly, James and George were all eager to get out today, as the rain finally stopped. 
We decided to walk along the River Thames and the Ock Valley River Walk to see how many different birds we could spot. Rowan spotted a deer on the opposite bank and was keen to give chase. Luckily, the honking geese put him off. My, did they make some noise!
We stopped to take photos and the inquisitive geese and goslings came to see what we were doing. I had to make sure that the dogs were kept safe from them but when they realised that we didn't have food, they soon swam away. 
We were all exhausted by the time we got back but it was wonderful to get some fresh air at last.
