Purple Poppy

As you can see my favourite purple poppy has recovered. It is windy today but thankfully there has been no rain. Now I must go and tie some twine around the stems of the purple poppies so that those are the ones to be kept for next year rather than the red ones. If I wait any longer the wind will have blown the petals off.
