New herring

It's Flag Day here at Scheveningen Harbour, which heralds the start of the ever-popular herring season. T tries it the traditional way...hold the raw herring (covered in raw onions) by the tail and chomp...down it goes. I'm not a fish-eater but he said it was fine.
