Glansevern Gardens

We are on holiday in Shropshire this week and today we visited Glansevern Gardens just over the Welsh border, which were very pretty and interesting. You could walk down the River Severn, which was flowing along fast, but no flooding in that particular area. We did see some flooded fields on the way back to Stiperstones where we are staying in a lovely holiday cottage. It’s so beautiful around here and we have huge hills right on our doorstep. Don’t think we shall be attempting to climb them (!) but there are plenty of seasoned ramblers who are. There is an amazing little shop next to where we are staying attached to the Stiperstones Inn. My son went there this morning to buy toothbrush, paste etc as he had forgotten his soap bag (!) and was able to get everything he wanted, so I will have to go and have a look round as he says there are shelves piled high with stuff! Most of the grocery stores (Tesco etc) deliver round here, which surprises me as it’s a difficult little road to navigate and about 30 minutes from Shrewsbury, but I would rather support the local shop for the necessities anyway.

I have put some extra photos of the garden on here.
