Walking with Flowers

Red Admiral

It’s been a perfect summer’s day at the south end of Shetland- lots of puffins on the cliffs at Sumburgh Head and the wildflowers plentiful. Lack of wind has also brought out the butterflies. I saw three Painted Ladies up at the lighthouse and five Red Admirals back down the road. Here’s one basking in the wall near the Sumburgh Hotel. And tomorrow I have to get on the boat and leave!
