Ermine Moth Web

Went over to Silver Meadows nature reserve especially to look for Ermine Moth Caterpillars in the tree covered webs.
I must have been a week too late, plenty of webs full of caterpillar poo but only an odd caterpillar left crawling on the webs.
As it was mid afternoon there were quite a few people about so not many birds about either
