Frog spotting

LH is never happier than when spotting wildlife in his pond; here, LD and partnerD (PD) are admiring large tadpoles, newts and the one weeny frog with tail on show.

We spent the day in the garden again. It's now looking nearly normal although that 'lawn' has a lot of length to it still, just flattened. We are hoping very much that the sun's heat (we actually experienced it for a short while!) will dry it out enough for another cut before we head off again.

The others are playing games. My b-i-l lives a board game and has brought a selection. Trouble is, they suit the maths and stats brains this family abounds in. I am playing dumbo and rejoicing in my intuitive, creative skills (basically, I've retired and am watching golf whilst knitting!).
