Old things

The desk was made sometime in the nineteenth century; the piano lamp is about 35 or 40 years old (though the style harks back to an earlier era). But the really old thing in the photo is the Hollar print, which carries a date of 1640. This is the first piece of real art, as opposed to poster art, that I ever bought, and I got it for a few pounds at a place called Craddock & Barnard near the British Museum.

The extra is a close-up of the print.
