Sisters Swingbridge

We spent a fantastic day on a track up the beautiful Hurunui Valley, in North Canterbury. This is the Sisters Swingbridge which crosses the Hurunui River. It's amazing being suspended over the fast flowing river with just a bit of wire under you!

The track led up the valley to Gabriel Hut, a four-bunk hut with its own special charms. A photo of it here.
