I was so engaged...

... with the task of photographing a single poppy, that I hadn't noticed the afternoon sky had become rather threatening.

The spots of rain had just started when I turned my attention to the wider view. Just time to capture a few shots before dashing for cover.

The slightly bedraggled poppy ended up as today's extra.
