Staying with us for the next 9 days we have one of the boys from the school in Malawi that K visited recently. It's going to be an interesting experience all round. One of the girls from the school has also come, and she is staying with a Slovenian couple we know - whose daughter also went out to Malawi. It must be quite an eye-opener for someone who had never been in a plane before yesterday, but he's already been shown the Estate and is playing Catan downstairs as I write.

Today I found out how hard it is to mow grass that's not been cut for almost a year, having totally lost my motivation for looking after the garden, let alone gardening. However, it was getting hard to walk through the grasslands to put out washing. The compensation was the company of a robin!
